Celebrate Valentine's Day - Adopt Somebunny to Love. Our next scheduled adoption day is Sunday, February 14. If you'd like to meet a rabbit on an alternate date, contact us and we'll try to make arrangements.

Please complete our Adoption Application Form if you are interested in adopting.

Please contact us well in advance of adoption days to be given an appointment to meet adoptable rabbits. Also, we will gladly arrange a meeting with a foster home or shelter volunteer, to help find the perfect bunny for you!

Remember, when you adopt from HRS, you are helping two bunnies; the one you take home, and the one we are able to pull from a shelter and into foster care, to fill the newly opened space.

DONATE YOUR OLD CAR

Looking for a tax deduction or to clear that old junker out of your driveway? Think of HRS and donate your old car to help us help the bunnies. San Diego HRS is partnering with the San Diego Animal Support Foundation and its Car Donation Program. Donate your car to the foundation, get a receipt for your taxes, and ask them to "give the money to the bunnies!" All funds from the car donation program go to animal rescue programs in San Diego County. Learn more!

ARTIST'S WORK SUPPORTS SDHRS RABBITS

Local artist and HRS Volunteer, Catherine Cranford Estante has been busy creating wonderful paintings of foster and adopted HRS bunnies, with 20% of proceeds (of any animal painting) benefiting SDHRS. She's now trying out some "miniatures" that are a lot of fun.

Poppy's Fund
San Diego HRS takes in several "special needs" rabbits each year and helps shelters with medical cases they cannot manage. To do this crucial work we created "Poppy's Fund." This special medical fund allows us to provide surgeries and medical care for HRS foster or shelter rabbits.

Pepper is one of our Special Needs bunnies. She needs a new "bunny cart" so she can move around again and become one of the Roller Buns!

VOLUNTEER WITH SDHRS
San Diego HRS has MANY volunteer needs including Foster Home Assistants, Hay Elves, Bunny Nail Trimmers, Office Helpers, Supplies Transporters, Shelter Volunteers and more! We will match you with a volunteer position that fits your skills and interests. Training is provided.

We have opportunities for Parents and older children to volunteer together, for Seniors, and for those who need to complete mandatory service hours (picking up supplies and helping with hay is perfect for this). We have occasional opportunities such as Education Events and many regular, ongoing needs.

We've got "bunny" strollers!
Join the crowd and get your bunny a fun, bunny stroller. This new way to take bunny out on the town is actually safe, fun, and good exercise for you. Strollers are also great to use for bonding rides. Stop in at the Bunny Store to see what designs we have available this week.
